What items to I need to purchase to complete each activity?
Each activity comes with a materials list. The materials are items you typically find around your home or at a local convenience store (such as paper plates, crayons, cheerios, sidewalk chalk, paper, rocks, vegetable seeds, cotton balls, blankets, etc).
One of the goals of this curriculum is to demonstrate how children can learn by using "everyday" items and reusing objects they already have. No need to purchase expensive toys or products to complete these activities.
In some activities, especially in level 3, access to the Internet is recommended in order to watch educational segments (such as whales swimming in the ocean OR a volcano erupting).
